Jesus said, "Not even a sparrow, worth only half a penny,
can fall to the ground without your Father knowing it.
So don't be afraid; you are more valuable to him
than a whole flock of sparrows."

Our Biblical Purpose Statement

Living together in God's amazing grace, we know Christ, grow in Christ, make Christ known.

Our Congregational Intentions
To prepare every person to become a fully committed follower of Christ
To make the love of God real for people who live far from Him
To excel in our stewardship of God’s gifts and resources

Our Core Beliefs
The foundational Christian teachings at Nazareth
· God is creator and sovereign.
· God freely sent His Son Jesus into the world as a gift who, through the cross, conquered sin, death, and Satan.
· God sends the power of the Holy Spirit to create and strengthen faith in the lives of believers.
· The Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God.
· God saves and changes people through a personal and living relationship with Jesus Christ.
· God creates the Church. Historical creeds and confessions testify to the Church’s biblical foundation and mission.
· Those given new life in Christ bring others the good news of salvation by telling the story of Jesus and living Christ’s compassion in and for the world.
· God will conclude human history through the second coming of his Son, who will judge the living and the dead.

Our Ministries
At each stage of life, a Nazareth ministry helps people strengthen their faith in Jesus Christ. From the babies cared for in our nursery to the seniors served by our Senior Adult Ministry, Nazareth is always here for you: helping, guiding, caring.

•  We have ministries for preschoolers, elementary students, junior high students, high school students, college people, young adults, and men, women, and senior adults.
•  We share the excitement and diversity of large group activities and the intimacy and companionship of small groups.
•  We encourage the development and growth of new leaders and new ministries.

Welcome to Nazareth. Welcome to a life shared in Christ.

About Our Sunday Worship Services

An average of 1200 people worship at Nazareth every Sunday. That's a lot of different people with a lot of different expectations of what a worship service should be like. That's why we offer three different services, each with its own unique style of worship. Check out one service or all three; we're confident one of them will be the kind of worship that feels right to you - worship that helps you connect with the people, the message, and God.

8:30 a.m. - Traditional
We call this one our traditional service because it uses traditional elements from Lutheran liturgy. Familiar hymns are played on the organ. If you feel at home in a more formal church setting, you'll appreciate this service.

9:50 a.m. - Blended
What did we blend? Some elements from the traditional liturgy (Apostles' Creed, Confession & Absolution, Lord's Prayer) and some elements from contemporary worship (hymns and praise songs led by a piano-driven worship ensemble, Powerpoint visuals). A good service for those who like a reflective, less formal approach to worship.

11:10 a.m. - Contemporary
In this service, the Confession, Apostles' Creed, and The Lord's Prayer acknowledge our strong Lutheran heritage. Then we bump up the energy level with a Worship Band that leads the congregation in contemporary praise music.  You'll see video presentations, powerpoint slide shows, dramas, and testimonials. The teachers include Nazareth pastors, Nazareth staff members, and members of the congregation, and all of them present God's Word with clarity and passion. This service welcomes seekers of all ages.
