This is the first set aside Sunday for our 150th Anniversary celebration. Nazareth’s ancestors in January of 1871 were given a dream from the Lord of the establishment of a faith community in Cedar Falls. In faith they responded, “Here we are … use us”. We are living that dream. Like our ancestors we are called by the Holy Spirit to dream to be the church for those who are not yet here, in our action and witness; as we continue the journey of telling the story of Jesus and his welcome and love.
